Put It To Work

Happy Holy Week!

Another Monday means another opportunity to swap prayer intentions and start “putting them to work” for one another!

Here are my prayer intentions for this week:

  • For those receiving sacraments and entering into full communion with the Church this Easter.
  • For households where husband and wife are “unevenly yoked” in faith.
  • For a special intention.

Your turn! What prayer intentions can I “put to work” for you this week? As always, I will add them to my prayer journal and pray for you by name throughout the week. Please share your intentions in the comment box below, on the blog Facebook page, or send them to me via the blog contact form. Thank you in advance for your prayers.

Have a blessed Holy Week!

Here are my prayer intentions for this week:

  • For the repose of the soul of Kara Tippetts, brave breast cancer warrior and witness to suffering well, and for the beautiful family she leaves behind
  • For Catholics in the state of Nebraska to stand up for religious freedom and contact their state senators to oppose LB 586 (even with the so-called “religious exemption”)
  • For a special intention

Your turn! What prayer intentions can I “put to work” for you this week? As always, I will add them to my prayer journal and pray for you by name throughout the week–especially tonight at my holy hour. Please share your intentions in the comment box below, on the blog Facebook page, or send them to me via the blog contact form. Thank you in advance for your prayers.

Here are my prayer intentions for this week:

  • For a renewed respect for fatherhood in our country as we celebrate the feast of St. Joseph on the 19th
  • The intentions we’ve been praying for our Novena to St. Joseph

Today’s Gospel: Luke 11:14-23

In today’s Gospel, Jesus’ enemies accuse him of gaining his power from the devil. Just like a good rabbi, Jesus answers his accusers with several questions, putting them on the defensive, forcing them to decide for themselves whether his power came from the devil or God. He left them no middle ground…(Come over to CatholicMom to read the rest)

Another Monday means another opportunity to swap prayer intentions and start “putting them to work” for one another!

Here are my prayer intentions for this week:

  • For the many people who have asked for prayers for themselves or their loved ones.  That they will feel God’s Love as they watch Him answer their prayers regardless of the outcome.
  • For blessings upon my niece who celebrated her birthday last Saturday and my sister-in-law who will celebrate her birthday this Saturday
  • For my patience and time management during this busy week
  • For a blessed meeting with my spiritual director
  • For a special intention
