Does Philip use the Full Focus Planner, too? What did you two do for your January date? You mentioned Philip’s Love Language. What’s yours? I go through spurts with reading. Right now I’m doing well reading daily. Way to go on your goal of 75 books! Sidnote: I’ll never tire of hearing of Michael Hyatt 🙂

Before Lent I want to read “Rediscover Lent” by Matthew Kelly. For Lent, I’m doing a “No-Spend Lent.” I have things that I will allow myself to buy (bills, gas, groceries, for example) but the other “stuff” I’m going to try really hard to do without. Amazon and I have been to good of friends lately. 🙂

Hey, Emily! No, Philip doesn’t have his own Full Focus Planner. He has more or less created his own in EverNote. Our original January date got moved to February at the last minute (a cooking class), so we actually just did a dinner and 2018 goals date. My love language is acts of service. I haven’t read that title by Matthew Kelly. I love your “No Spend Lent” idea! Amazon is too easy!

Thanks Catherine for starting this podcast! I heard about it on Girlfriends. I’m so glad I subscribed! I’m already inspired to do a family and spouse weekly meeting! I think this is an insight from God, especially because we could definitely use more communication in our marriage! God Bless and keep up the great podcasting ❤️

Hi, Bridget! I’m so glad you found the show and that you’re enjoying it! (Isn’t Girlfriends great???) Maybe Lent could be a focused time for you and your hubby to work toward having stronger communication. I know we’re using Lent as a chance for us to strengthen our marriage. I hope I’ll continue to see your name around here and that the show continues to be a blessing! Have a great start to Lent!
